"Students in Painting Studio"
Hendrix College Students at work in their new state of the art 2000 square foot painting studio. The entire building has its air exchanged every twenty minutes. Students can keep their paintings set up all semester. There is controllable north light. Each student gets a locker and access to a safety cabinet. There are individual separately ventilated storage bays for paintings. There is a large parts washer for brush cleaning. And, best of all, there is a nearly endless supply of canvas, gesso, and wood to make stretchers. This is further eased with and air stapler, power chop saw, and band saw. It is the ultimate painter's playpen.
